Goals
The Stuart Weitzman brand is associated with a few key characteristics: luxury, quality, and
high fashion. In working with Americaneagle.com, they hoped to renovate their online storefront, update ecommerce functionality, and improve merchandising to reflect their success and high-end appeal. They also wanted to strengthen their brand to existing customers and further reach the broadening European market. They wanted to increase online sales trends, deepen the Stuart Weitzman brand, and grow a preferred shopper database. The redesign also needed to include more promotional offers and tools for the site, implementation of marketing strategies to create more customer awareness of the website, and inclusion of new technologies into their online strategy, particularly for mobile commerce.
