What, Where and When Is The Sitefinity User Group?
We’re very excited to hold a Chicago Sitefinity User Group this evening, Wednesday, September 21st, 2016, at the Americaneagle.com headquarters in Des Plaines, and invite you to join us! The event will be held from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM CST, and is open to anyone interested in learning more about the Progress Sitefinity platform. The session will be in the format of a seminar / workshop and is designed to educate the local community on Progress Sitefinity and facilitate discussion on everyone’s experience with the platform.
Should I attend?
Throughout the event, we will discuss best practices and share user experiences. If you’d like to learn more about getting the most out of Sitefinity or share your experiences with others, this is for you.
This event should be treated as the perfect platform from which to ask questions and share insights with others, whether you’re new to Progress Sitefinity, have been using the platform for a while, or have excellent knowledge of it. Having held numerous user groups in the past, we hope this event will once again be a great success and a valuable learning resource to everyone who attends.
As many of you will know, Americaneagle.com is an official certified Progress partner having won numerous awards such as Partner of the Year and Website of the Year for multiple years. Americaneagle.com has a great deal of experience working on and integrating the Sitefinity platform for many different companies such as the Green Bay Packers, BAI, International Paper, and more. The two main sessions ‘Caching Best Practices in Sitefinity’ and ‘Understanding & Leveraging Sitefinity’s New Web Service Tool’ will be led by Americaneagle.com Sitefinity Experts, Jesse Kearns and Mani Balasubramaniyan, both Senior Sitefinity Developers, along with Stu Furlong, Technical Manager of Sitefinity Front End Development.
As with all user groups, this will also be the perfect opportunity to network with other Sitefinity users in the community and enjoy some delicious food and beverages on us!

6:30pm-6:45pm -- Arrival & Introductions
6:45pm - 7:30pm -- "Caching Best Practices in Sitefinity"
7:30pm - 8:15pm -- "Understanding & Leveraging Sitefinity's New Web Service Tool"
8:15pm - 8:30pm -- Final questions/Wrap up
As the purpose of the User Group is to allow Sitefinity users to come together and share their experiences with others, the agenda is flexible to accommodate attendee participation. If there any additional topics you would like to discuss please let us know or feel free to mention them on the 21st.
