Americaneagle.com, a Website design, development, and hosting company based outside Chicago, has paired up with QED Marketing for a second time to launch their latest matchmaking Website. Senior 2 Senior, a unique online environment that targets people ages 50 and over, enables seniors to have a better chance at "love at first click."
"There are many people who don't fit the mold that typical dating sites require," says Spencer Koppel, President of QED Marketing. "As a result, they are not easily matched there and tend to be lost in the crowd of 'normal' people. Even though there are already several ‘niche' dating sites, they really only duplicate the profiles and match scoring system of the traditional sites."
Acknowledging these obstacles, Senior 2 Senior sets out to give its targeted group better results when searching for romance or friendship on the Web. To achieve this, the database design allows QED to have full control over questions and their respective scoring weights. This way, the system can be constantly fine-tuned to optimize the matching algorithms.
