Back to Bed, the largest Chicago and Illinois Simmons Beautyrest mattress store, was recently featured on Groupon.com with an offer that enabled users to obtain $200 toward a mattress or mattress set for just $50 (a 75% discount). With this offer, the bedding retailer was able to sell 900 Groupons and generate significant traffic to their brick-and-mortar store locations for other promotions.
In addition to the higher number of consumers the offer brought to their physical store locations, the offer had positive results for their online presence as well.
